FB Fit Round 2 results and review.

I started FB fit round 2 toward the middle of March and I just finished the physical fitness test today. my physical fitness test results for the 1-mile run are likely not accurate as I had to stop due to sudden abdominal pains while I was running and walked the rest of the way home. that being said I had increases in every other metrics so I feel if I repeated the run when I wasn't having abdominal pains I would likely have improvement in that area as well.

I decided to do fit after taking a break from Fitness Blender over the winter. I love that most every workout in the program with maybe one or two exceptions. To take this program on I would say you need at least an hour a day to work out 4 to 5 days per week. probably about half of the weeks I worked out for days in the other half of the weeks I actually hit the five-day mark.

The workouts are a smart mix of cardio hit strength, pilates and stretching. a lot of times, even when I did skip a workout it was more because of scheduling issues then feeling overwhelmed and needing an extra rest day. The program is almost designed to know when exactly you're going to feel burned out and you end up with the routine that is a little bit lighter the following day. a few days I thought about doubling up but by the time I got to the end of the schedule workout I decided against it. I think this is a great program if you're willing to commit 8 to 10 weeks to do ita few days I thought about doubling up but by the time I got to the end of the schedule workout I decided against it. I think this is a great program if you're willing to commit 8 to 10 weeks to do it and your looking for measureable strength and cardiovascular endurance. Clearly completing the work outs in more like nine and a half to 10 weeks rather than eight did not hinder my progress much.

I did not have any goals going into the program other than to continue to build upon strength and cardiovascular endurance. But I am seriously blown away by those PFT results!

Now that I've completed the program I'm going to take the rest of the week off and start back up next week with a two-week plan that I made up using the new workouts from this year:) After that I'm thinking I'll freestyle for the summer months before jumping into another program. I've been committed to programs for quite a while now and I'm going to take a break this summer to focus on getting out and doing things outside, learning to swim, and working on cardio. I'm sure I will be wearing out my favorite strength training and kickboxing workouts, though!!!!

Happy workout/ program complete everyone!
