I was doing salad prep for the week, and thought I would share a favorite dressing recipe.
1/4 cup (40g) Blue Cheese Crumbles
1/2 cup (120g) Plain Greek Yogurt
2 Tablespoon Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (white shown)
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Mash crumbles into the yogurt with a fork until somewhat smooth. Add vinegar and garlic powder - stir until well mixed. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
This will be fairly thick at first. I generally thin it with water as I use it. The dressing thins on its own over time, so thinning all at once may lead to a watery mess. The dressing keeps for a week.
NOTE: This is tangy, which I love. However, if you add a bit of honey or a little mayo (or both) it will help to balance it out.
I have a dish that has to chill overnight, so FB Potluck will be tomorrow.
