Getting back at it after a week long break!

Hey FB Fam!

I took a week off from working out last week because I was super busy (I got married!!!) and now life is back to normal and I'm getting back in my workout groove. I had to take it slow for the first couple days back, some workouts I considered easy before are noticeably more difficult for me now. I plan to do my first HIIT workout of the week tomorrow and I'm actually super excited! HIIT is brutal but it's definitely one of my favorite types of workouts because I feel so strong afterward.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say that I am actually really glad I took a break, I think I needed a week off to just let everything go and enjoy myself on my wedding day!!! It's been good for my soul to take a break and not worry about calories or workouts for a little while. Yes, I do feel a little slower now as a result, but I don't mind one bit! I don't feel bad about it at all. I'm just happy to be working out again and continuing to live a healthy and active life! I didn't realize how much I missed it!
