This is my first time posting here and I have a question:
I feel deadlifts mostly in my back (lower and shoulders), but I think I'm supposed to feel it more in my butt. What am I doing wrong? I am careful to keep my back straight and to try to push forward with my hips... but it doesn't seem to make a difference. My butt doesn't hurt at all after them, but my back feels really tired. I don't have a mirror, so I can't really be sure that my back is straight. Any suggestions?
Also, squats hurt my knee... just my left knee. My weight is always in my heels... do you think I just need to do some knee strengthening exercises? Or am I doing it wrong?
I bet it's hard to answer these questions without actually seeing my form, but if you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
Am I doing deadlifts wrong? And squats?
