4 hours pine pulling and kickboxing?!?! No! Rescheduling!

Another super day of ā€œhabitat managementā€..... four hours of pine pulling! Pine pulling means you take out all the young pine saplings on the heathland so that other vegetation can thrive. In this case: give the heather a chance. Pine pulling is done by actually pulling the smaller pines out of the ground, roots and all! The bigger ones (as in as big as your thumb or more) have to be lopped, i.e. cut with a lopper. In spite of ā€œkeeping my back straightā€ and ā€œcore engagedā€ (yes, Danielā€™s word featured in my head again all day!), it does make your back pretty sore!!! And my arms are moaning a fair bit as well. So....

FB Low Impact day 5 is kickboxing with Kelli. Sorry Kelli, I am skipping this and having a ā€œdateā€ with that lovely husband of yours: day 6 of FB LI is the 17 min Danielā€™s favourite back stretches! When I told my husband about this workout, he said he would join in as well! (šŸ˜”there goes my date with Daniel šŸ¤£)....

I will do day 5 kickboxing with Kelli tomorrow!

I took this photo on our way to our work-spot. Good thing I did, because as we were walking back to our cars without the ranger at the end of the day we were getting a bit lost! Then I saw this beauty and knew we had to turn off right! šŸ¤”šŸ˜œ
