Fresh blueberries and kale are blended with plain low fat Greek yogurt, nut butter, and honey for a smoothie packed with wholesome nutrients. Both blueberries and kale are among the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, chock full of vitamins, minerals, and those all-important antioxidants. When combined with protein-packed yogurt and natural nut butter, you’re in for one superfood treat. 

Vegan Modifications

Feel free to substitute the yogurt in this recipe with your favorite vegan alternative. Agave can also be substituted for the honey in this recipe. 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup85 gblueberries
  • ¼ cup8 gkalechopped
  • ¼ cup45 gGreek plain low fat yogurt
  • ½ Tbsp.7.5 gnatural nut butter
  • 2 tsp.10 mLhoney
  • ¼ cup60 mLwater

Preparation Instructions

  • Place blueberries, kale, yogurt, nut butter, honey, and water in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and transfer to a glass.
