I've been working tirelessly recently on an essay that I have due on Monday and it's seriously been getting me down!
I love to study and learn, don't get me wrong, but sitting at a computer all day working takes its toll after a while - as I'm sure we're all aware of.
FB workouts have been great and have got me away from my computer and able to release stress. The other day I did an intense 45 minute workout and it occurred to me afterwards that I hadn't thought about my essay at all during that time, even though it has been consuming my thoughts so much!
I now make it part of my study routine to make sure I get a good workout in, or even some stretching/yoga really helps as well.
The point I'm trying to make is that while the physical benefits of exercise are great, the psychological/mental ones are just as important - I've definitely learnt that this week!
I hope everybody is well, and... Happy Halloween! :)
