#WorkoutCompleteforKandD - a made up 1000-calorie workout

Ok, so it wasn’t the 1000-calorie workout that we were all supposed to do, but I ended up burning 1000 calories anyway - so I’m counting it!

My friend and I are training for a couple of 10k races coming up, and this morning was our long run for the week (11km). When I got home afterwards, I figured I’d get my FB Booty 2 (Day 15) workout done. It was a KILLER level 5 lower body strength training workout that included step ups. I was sweating buckets throughout the workout and my legs were shaking so much by the time I was done that I didn’t have it in me to do the extra credit challenge. No matter, because I saw on my Apple Watch that I had surpassed the 1,000 calorie marked. I am actually kind of psyched, because it means that I probably (hopefully??) complete one of the 1000-calorie FB workouts.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to collapse in a heap on the couch for the rest of the day.
