Clarification (maybe?)

Hello, blenders!

First, I wanted to thank y’all for your replies, input, advice, sharing your opinions, ect. I also wanted to apologize if I came across as ungrateful, or disrespectful. That was truly not my intentions. I know I am very blessed, and I am sincerely thankful for the country I live in, and for all the good food I get to enjoy, and for the fact that I get to eat every single day! I really am not trying to complain, so I’m very sorry if it came across that way.

Secondly, about the milk I wasn’t trying to say just drink any raw milk. I would NOT go to a dairy farm with hundreds of cattle all crammed together, milk a cow, and drink it like that. I mean that’s not very good in the first place, but if you think about it, that’s where a lot of our milk comes from. Milk from cattle in not very good living conditions then pasteurized, homogenized, whatever, to kill all the dangerous bacteria and what have you. I mean like a lot of y’all talked about with eggs for e.g.; I just think that a lot of things, even things claiming to be “healthy” aren’t really living, grown, processed, ect. in just natural ways like maybe we would think. I was thinking more of like having your own cow/goat/eggs, or like local farmers, people you trust, knowing where it’s coming from, the hygiene, ect.

I get too that this is a huge nation, with all sorts of lifestyles, situations, and how expensive these types of things can be. I’m thankful too for all the science and technology there is to cure diseases, and make things more efficient; but sometimes I think a lot of our health problems in this country are food related, and maybe if we just ate things the way God intended; there wouldn’t be some of these problems in the first place. I’m not saying I have all the answers, or knowledge about this WHATSOEVER. I guess simply put, I was just trying to say that sometimes I wish things (food related) weren’t so complicated, and it could just be simple like when food was food, milk was milk, eggs were eggs, veggies were veggies (ect.) and we didn’t have to have all these labels/terms to distinguish between all the different things that have or haven’t been done to our food. Does this make sense? I’m really trying to clarify, and I just feel like I’m rambling again.

Anyway, I wanted to share a link to a site about milk that I thought was really interesting.

I know there’s a lot if contradicting info out there, and this seems to be a touchy topic; so I’m not trying to cause conflict. Again, I haven’t fully researched this site, and don’t know everything on this subject; but I thought the video and some of their articles were very interesting.
