Today is extremities day in our mobility challenge.
I recently tried my first barefoot workout in a while, and was left hobbling about (and loudly complaining) in agony for a full week afterwards. Wearing trainers for exercise has left me with some seriously wimpish ankles and feet, so for this part of the challenge I have gone straight to the source of strong, flexible foot wisdom: classical dance.
Korse has reminded me that for some of us, yesterday will have been leg day, so I'm including both a floor-based and a standing routine to choose from. The Lazy Dancer channel has a number of flexibility videos, so if you enjoy ballet-type movement, have a look over there.

Standing routine:

The other half of the challenge addresses the hands. I'm sure anyone who types for a living will appreciate these exercises too.

I hope you'll enjoy moving these neglected areas of the body in some novel ways, and look forward to hearing your impressions!
