I hope you can point me in the right direction with this because it's freaking me out!
I just turned 51 this month but have been lifting weights on and off my whole life.
I only recently started doing more fitness based workouts like cardio and HIIT in conjunction with weightlifting after taking pretty much all of last year away from exercise.
Since February this year, I've lost close to four inches off my waist. I don't keep track of actual body weight, I'm only concerned about looking and feeling good.
But I've come across a problem I've never had before, loose skin over my abdominals.
But this is only visible when I'm on all fours doing exercises like mountain climbers or plank. Then there is literally skin hanging down away from my body. But when I'm standing upright I look completely fine.
I have never had this happen before in all my years of training.
I can't believe it's simply down to old age.
Is there anything I could do to reduce this as it looks pretty horrendous and is incredibly unnerving!
Loose Belly Skin Panic!?

Thanks a lot, guys,
