It's 9pm on a Friday night, which means it's time for me to finally remember to start the thread. Not me sitting at my computer home alone on a Friday night! I've never had much of a social life. The difference now is that there is no one at school or the office to make me feel bad about it. I just got assigned a new project at work, and I like it so much better than my old one. Which was a total bin fire. So here I am, working away and feeling good about it.
Sleep continues to be a big issue for me. I get enough of it, but I can't seem to do it at socially appropriate times. Yesterday I was sleeping at a time when most people are up and about, and someone knocked on my door. It was a very confident, male knock, but I wasn't expecting anyone and don't answer the door for strangers. Especially when they wake me up. Max barked and Mr Knocker left. Later I went out to see if they left a note, and there was a political pamphlet on my doormat "Sorry I missed you". We have a federal election in a few weeks so it was a local politician. This local politician also happens to be the Attorney General of Australia. I got a card from him (and others) congratulating me on my Australian citizenship last year, which is still on my fridge. So that's my claim to fame.

Hello lovelies

In other news, I finally did some yoga last night and oh golly am I tight. Simultaneously very tight and very bendy, doesn't make sense to me either but that's how I am. Felt much better afterwards, well, back did anyway. Knee was not happy at all last night, but seems to have recovered today. I need to do more regular exercise but am also afraid of reinjuring myself. I think I will do some light, total body something later tonight. Dinner was leftover Tuscan chicken not from Tuscany and a pile of steamed veg. Ooh those sundried tomatoes add a nice umami touch, especially with a little parmesan on top, mwah! π€©ππΌ
