HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 23rd
Hello beautiful Blenders,
I hope you have a nice flow to your Sunday.
I thought about going with my son to Cork, to get some clothes for him but I'm a bit scared because it means quite some walking. Maybe not yet.
But it got much better the last few days, and I have around 6000-7000 steps each day before my back and leg gets tired.
I even did a workout with Marina for the lower back. Well I did half of it, so 15 min. I just don't have the strength anymore and I really don't want another Portugal situation all over again.
My husband and I even practiced some dancing. Ok, he was dancing and I only moved from one place to another. But that is a great way to learn how the different figures work. We do it in dance class as well. You just slowly walk to understand where you have to be and when. It gives me hope. Just to be able to think about moving again is great. But it is still a long way.
Unfortunately, I can see it. I lost a bit of weight at the start of the injury. Sadly only muscle mass. And because sitting around all day without any cardio I regained the weight again. But sadly no muscle mass 😞 I'm not to happy about it. It will be a long way to get back to my normal.
In this sense:
Get up, dust off, yell something, start again😜
(I replaced my version of the quote with Sharon's edited one.)
What are you up to? Active, relaxed, maybe some self-care? I definitely will get our Easter decorations out.
