HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 22nd

Good early Saturday morning! Woke up an hour before my usual time, but this was the most decent night of sleep I’ve had this week, as for the past three nights, I struggled with waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep.

What plans, if any, have you lined up for this weekend? What workout, if any, is on your calendar today? And what delicious food will you be eating?

As far as plans for the weekend, David will finally build the cabinet that we bought more than a month ago to display his knick knacks. That will help clear a few more boxes. We’ll only have 2-3 left to take care of after this. We’ll also go to Ikea to shop for chairs for our sining table (thinking of you Ashley), because ours are incredibly uncomfortable. They’re fine for just the two of us, but we’d like to invite family and friends over for the first time next weekend, and I don’t want them sitting on those chairs. And tonight is movie night. We haven’t chosen which one we’ll watch yet.

For exercise, I will do day 2 of the 2-week Abs challenge. It’s upper body strength training, but since I’ve done the planned workout more recently, I used the swap feature and will do a workout from Erica instead. I’m really looking forward to that one. David and I will also go for a walk before it rains this afternoon. We only walked 1 time this week, but it’s a start.

As for food, we’ll finally try that vegetarian smash burger recipe. And I’m tempted to go buy some maple sugar pie and caramel cupcakes at a local bakery, or a variety of maple doughnuts, with flavours like maple crème brûlée, sucre à la crème, or maple and honeyberry. It is maple season here and there are so many original maple products coming out 😋
