You guys! Last time I forgot to start the thread, and this week I was determined not to let that happen. I was thinking to myself, how many more days until it's my turn to host? It's about another 1.5 weeks - today is Tuesday so next Friday it is. BZZZZZ wrong! I need a secretary.
So here we are, or at least here I am, just over halfway done with Friday. I have already had a meltdown followed by a significant improvement in mood. What is the difference between suffering with the dire state of the world and stopping just short of downright cheerfulness you ask? Well, many things, but the first was likely a direct result of me not having slept more than about 4 hours at a time for the past week, and the second very probably involved caffeine, a long shower, and putting my pjs on. Yes, that's right, I got dressed, then took a shower, then put on pjs. I work from home, you can't stop me.
Back to the task at hand. Food and exercise. Are you doing it? I think my food situation is gonna involve scrambled eggs, cos somebody didn't do the shopping. Exercise, not really, or maybe sorta. My back is mega unhappy so I did a lot of stretching. Was pretty sore after ice skating last week for several days, and then the soreness turned to stiffness, and the stiffness turned into the hunchback of Notre Dame. I do not recall ever being sore after ice skating, but this was also the first time I'd been skating as an adult...and I think the first time I'd used some particular muscles as an adult. Was worried how my dicky knee would take it, but it turns out my knee almost felt great afterwards. Getting those muscles revved up in all the right places. I say almost cos a week later and it's still a nice greenish black from where I crashed.
Enough of my sleep deprived and overly caffeinated nonsense. Your turn for a jibber jabber.
