Perspiration Pals 19 March 2025

Hi there, Pals. How are you today? I’m overwhelmed. There are days when everything is too much and this is one of those days… I have to work really hard not to be snappy and tense so I’m already tired and it’s not even 2 p.m. I’ve just realised that I need to start the thread and I’m slightly (=completely) unprepared. 😊 I’ll be winging it, Pals, it has happened before.

I’m halfway through the laser show, I mean treatment, and my elbow is still painful but I’m not disappointed yet as it can change. Hopefully, it will. I’ve been doing bodyweight routines for a while now and I’ve realised that I do need some cardio/HIIT and compound movements from time to time to spice up my strength training.

Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment. Have you ever wondered why warning signs are triangular? In 1968, the United Nations Economic and Social Council met in Vienna to work out a system of shapes and symbols for read signs that could be used all over the world. It was at this meeting that everyone agreed triangles would be ‘danger’ signs. The orientation of the triangle tells you a bit more: if the point is at the top, it’s a warning about something on or around the road. Triangles pointing downwards are a special kind of warning, indicating that you have to slow down or stop (‘Give Way sign)

All right, Pals, that’s it from me today, drive/cycle/walk safe and take a look at the flower of this Christmas cactus from the office.
