HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 16th
Hello beautiful Blenders,
I'm jumping in for Heather and taking over her Sundays. I hope she is alright.
I know St Patrick's Day is tomorrow, but I thought I will post some quotes in this context today. There is another one in the comments.
There is not much to report. I'm still sitting on the sofa. I'm so tired of it. I really want to move again, but even the physio exercises can be challenging and they are really not much. We are talking about holding a gentle stretch for 10-20 seconds. According to an old MRI from last year, where the damage on my back was already visible it is most likely a herniated disc. It takes time. We already had to cancel two fun dance weekends with aerials. I was soo looking forward to this, now that my husband is all in. But he don't want to continue without me, because it is our shared hobby and it doesn't make sense when he progresses without me. At least I can walk a little bit again without pain. Unfortunately not enough to get to my Spanish classes because there are a lot of stairs from where I park, and I can't do stairs at the moment. So I already missed so many classes. It's just so frustrating.
But enough of wining.
I have a question. Maybe someone knows something. My 17- year old is finishing school in summer and is planning to go to Asia (Thailand, South Korea, not quite sure yet), next year to teach English with his TEFL and study there. However, it is incredibly difficult to figure out how to organize all of it and who to ask.
Same for my 14-year old. He wants to do a school exchange next year to Japan or South Korea, but it seems that there is no organisation in Ireland which is offering that.If anyone has an idea or knows someone who would be willing to talk about their experiences with us, that would be really helpful.
Sorry for my not so happy post. What are you up too today. I hope you have a beautiful Sunday. Sun is supposed to come out. Maybe I can sit a bit in the garden.
