Updated // Having a tough time sticking to my cal + program indecision
UPDATE: after all the thoughtful suggestions, I will be working on foundational strength and shorter timeframes before the 4-8 week programs.
A thanks from my heart to all for the recommendations and for sharing experiences. I have way more clarity and I will be keeping the community updated on my journey.

Hi all!
I've been working out with FB since 2015 and am back after a 4-year break. My fav programs (or rather the ones I have been able to complete are FBFit30 and FB Sweat and the 5 day for busy people.
I turned 40 last year and life has been a bit hectic (the usual stress, still consider myself healthy and blessed) this year I decided to resume my fitness journey with consistency to live my life to my best energetic capability and to get strong. One problem I have had this year is I went all in and set FB Burn - after 2 days I was sore and tired so I removed it to take a break, then started with FB 30 round 4, missed a few days and then removed that from the calendar, then FB 30 round 3, and removed that as well when I had missed a few days. I can't get over missing days and then feel the need to start from the beginning! I know it's from my need for perfection and I should get past it but just can't. I considered FB Strong for the benefits of weight training and I get my cardio from walking. I'm torn with all the conflicting info on the web - HIIT after 40, only strength training, lengths of workouts etc. Any suggestions, thoughts and tips would be so helpful. I may be programming the latest FB Low Impact 3 this evening.
