New Workout! Cardio Endurance Intervals with Oscillating Intensities

Good morning FB Family!

Today’s workout involves a lot of practice regulating your breathing rate to help regulate your heart rate:

Cardio Endurance Intervals with Oscillating Intensities

Throughout four, 2-exercise circuits you’ll fluctuate between moderate and high efforts (sub-maximal or maximal, you determine just how much you want to push yourself!), training your body (and mind) to efficiently respond to differing energy demands while maintaining a high performance. Learning how to differentiate cardio zones and adjust your efforts to match the target training effect is key to helping you know when to push or pull back your efforts throughout your workouts.

My legs were absolutely cooked prior to pressing “record!” This workout was the last workout I filmed during a filming phase (I like to plan a bunch of workouts and then spend a couple of weeks filming them) so I was really dialed in to my perceived efforts to help me determine exercise cadence, range of motion, and progressions/regressions. I encourage you to do the same – focus on each working interval and dial in to your efforts one exercise/circuit at a time!
