Good morning and happy first day of February everyone!! I know a few of us are excited January is fiiiinally over.
What does this Saturday and new month have in store for you? I plan on finishing up Kickstart with Brian. While I was a little disappointed I couldn't get that challenge complete with so many of you yesterday, it happens and I'll get it today. What about you guys? Taking a rest or moving right along?
Eventually we'll all move right along to dinner. What will you be having? I don't think anyone has already eaten 🤔. Some are really close. We'll be having pizza. We won't have time to make it tomorrow, so I'm pretty sure the plan was to move it to today.
Speaking of food, my family has been discussing how many times we chew each bite at dinner. We're ridiculous, I know. It started because Jack just kept chewing this bite of ham and hubs got annoyed that it had to be liquid already he chewed it so much. Lol. In any case, turns out Dave and Paige essentially swallow their food whole with only 3-5 chews while Jack and I average more in the 20s (30s for meat) per bite. I find it interesting because it's better to chew your food up more supposedly, yet Jack and I are the ones with frequent stomach issues like heartburn. So are you an over or under chewer? Are you going to count next time? Do you chew yogurt? Hubs laughed when I said I do.
Oh my. This got pointless real fast! Apologies. We find odd things interesting in this house I suppose. Lol.
Picture today is actually from a year or two ago, but thought you'd like it. There's a trail we like to hike in the winter because the ice is just so cool!! We didn't make it there yet this year.
