New workout! Active Recovery and Stretching for a Stiff Back

Hey Team!

So far this week, I had my heavy lifting day, recorded a workout video, and got in some Jiu-Jitsu training. I felt the need to focus on recovery and mobility. A lot of you have mentioned lower back tightness, and I get it... it happens to me, too. Lower back tension can creep up on you, whether from lifting or just doing day-to-day activities, and this session is designed to help ease that.

Active Recovery and Stretching for a Stiff Back

We will focus on opening up the hips, activating the core, and stretching out those muscles that support the spine. We'll start with gentle movements to wake up the muscles that help stabilize the lower back. Then, we'll move into deeper stretches to help loosen those tight spots, especially in the hips and lower back area.

This session is about taking it slow, focusing on quality movements, and relaxing your body. If you've been pushing hard with your workouts, this is the perfect way to reset your body. It's not about rushing through... it's about giving your muscles time to release and recover.

Remember, mobility work is just as important as strength training. It's key to staying pain-free and helping unlock that strength you have been building. Plus, don't forget to breathe deeply through each stretch — it helps with relaxation and recovery.

So, grab a mat, take your time, and give yourself some love today!

Enjoy team!
