Hello, lovelies, and Happy Tuesday! Hope everybody is doing well. Today’s my last day of vacation and i’m not ready to get back to work. I’ve been in hibernation mode for the past week,sleeping and reading with the occasional walk or workout, and today’s the first day i woke up feeling rested in what feels like months. Watch it all get reversed by Friday, lol.

My big piece of news is that we’ve decided it’s high time to tie the knot this year. We’re aiming for a small, daytime wedding in September. In the next few days we need to agree on who we want to invite and start calling the list of restaurants we’re interested in. The places we’re eying aren’t necessarily traditional wedding venues so we should be able to find a slot, fingers crossed. So yeah, that’s happening. Haven’t said anything to my family yet cause I want to have something concrete when i do but i want to put it out there as an accountability thing. Our friends have agreed to be our “wedding godparents” so at least we have that out of the way.

How has the first week of the year gone for you? Are you in a post holidays slump or are you feeling energized and ready to go? I think we’ll go for a walk to take advantage of the spring like weather.
