I've been using ChatGPT to mindfully plan out meals, which has resulted in losing 10 pounds of weight over the past 1.5 months! I've spent forever (4+ years) not being able to lose a single pound, so this has been eye opening.
I've mainly been focusing on eating 30+ grams of Fiber per day and 90-110 grams of protein, which has been great but also difficult.
By eating more protein and fiber, I get full very easily at around 1K calories. Since that's too low, I'll add brownie/ice cream, Greek yogurt with a brownie, protein drinks to get to where I want to, but I would like to figure out how to eat more calories with more nutritious foods versus having to rely on ultra processed food.
I'll normally have fiber bread with almond butter in the morning before I go to the gym. Then I'll come back and make 2 eggs, spinach/arugula, cheese, mushrooms, and put in a protein wrap. That has a fair amount of calories, but then I'm pretty full and find it hard to eat the rest of the day.
Then I'll eat a salad taco with beef, lettuce, and tomatoes that don't have that many calories for lunch.
And then again I'll have something like chicken alfredo with mushrooms. All of this together is 1K calories, so I end up having the protein drink, brownie + ice cream, and Greek yogurt with berries and brownie for the rest of the day to get to where I want my calories to be.
How do you eat enough calories after you change your diet to be high fiber and high protein? For the most part, it's unprocessed, which may be why I feel full and don't want to eat anymore. The processed food helps to make me eat more and get to the amount of calories I want with fat, protein, and carbs, but I'd rather not have to rely on brownies and ice cream every day.
