HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group December 21st
Good last Saturday morning before Christmas! How are you feeling this Holiday season? Sending you patience if you’re going out shopping this weekend, and warm thoughts if this isn’t a merry time for you. The meme above is for all of us.
I had a phone consult with my nurse practitioner yesterday and the results from all of the tests that I did a few weeks back are good. But the test to determine if I am in menopause is inconclusive. I will do that test again in January and we’ll see what the course of action will be then.
Yesterday was overall a productive day for me, getting more administrative work done for our move (Sharon, you were right, there are so many things to think of!), wrapping all of my gifts, and baking treats. I completely wrecked the first batch of sucre à la crème that I did, so I had to run to the grocery store when David got home to get more ingredients. I only have cookies left to bake this morning, since the dough had to chill.
What are your plans for today and this weekend? Today, after our usual Saturday morning grocery run, I will do a few things around the apartment while David will be donating plasma. Then my brother and I will go visit my dad. I bought him a vegetarian tourtière and I’ll give him my treat box as well. After that, David and I will go through one closet in our apartment. Eventually, we’ll get to relax, at least for movie night tonight.
