Anyone ever struggled with this? When I type my symptoms into google I get “Costochondritis.”
A few weeks ago, I noticed my chest was still hurting even after I should have been past my sore time from a workout. The ache continued. It’s been 2-3 weeks now and the ache is not gone. In this time, I’ve done 3 upper body workouts or so but lifted a lot less on anything chest related. The pain is weird, it comes at weird times. If I press on my chest even slightly right on my sternum, I want to yell out in pain. It doesn’t necessarily happen every time I use my chest muscles. I don’t have insurance nor can I afford to go see a doctor.
I’ve never struggled with any kind of injury, pain, severe illness. I could literally just cry thinking about going through weeks… months? of no lifting weights in an attempt to make this go away. I am a stay at home mom and my workouts help keep me sane. I don’t know what to do.
