It is actually only 9 :20 pm Saturday as I type this so I am getting an early start for me.
This morning I went to the Christmas parade in town. I live in a small city but the parade has a small town feel with different local groups in the parade many of which I had not heard of before along with members of the city council, High School Marching bands, city buses, police cars, sheriff cars and sanitation truck. There was also a gingerbread man and the infamous 2 guys with a banner. They were back from last year and we all cheered for them. I think sort of the joke from last year was anyone who applied to be in the parade could be in it. As proof of that I was in it one year with run/walk club as the jungle bell walkers. I probably still have the tee shirt.
It felt really cold this morning and it was cloudy so I didn't stand there long enough to see Santa. My friend and I were both on the same wavelength, its too cold lets walk back towards to the car and get coffee.
After the excitement of the parade I did the second to last day of LIR2 by making a combo of 3 short workouts, a warmup with Erica, upper body strength with bands with Nicole and then an old favorite upper body stretching workout with Kelli.
Sunday morning I hope to join the zoom call with Ppals. I need to be somewhere else at 9:30 so I should leave the call at 8:40. Too bad I can't have Nellie and Cinnamon join while I getting ready for my next meeting. I am looking forward to our international meeting. Where else can I meet with friend from several different countries without leaving my house.
Everyone is welcome to chat with us. I would like to hear how your weekends are going.
