Today is December 13th, which means it is the anniversary of the day I got my driver's license. I have no idea why I remember this date every year, but I do. Maybe one day I will be able to afford my own car.
I found a set of Christmas lights at Aldi for $10 and bought them with the idea that I would string them around my living room. Not for Christmas, but as year-round fairy lights. Unfortunately I forgot to factor in the part about having high ceilings and no ladder (D took it), and no car to get a ladder. So the fairy lights remain in the box.
That seems to be an accurate metaphor for everything else in my life, so let's move on. I was meant to have a physio appointment this afternoon but I think I fired him. Too expensive and difficult to get to without a car, and also I don't understands why he needs this many sessions to give me a few exercises. Because he is getting paid a lot of money to string them out, that's why. Last week he made me do some "strength test" that left me with bad back pain for several days. All right, well, I'm done. Anyway, I dearly need a day off from sitting in front of a screen being stressed, frustrated, and exhausted so I think I may turn the computer off for a few hours and deal with this large pile of dirty dishes in my kitchen. It's a nice day and I need to go to the shops so will go for a walk or short bike ride later. Diet has not been the best lately, and I am getting weird cravings for starchy, sugary foods that I usually do not like. So I will also be cooking some food that includes protein and vegetables, and then eating it. Yes, that is my plan.
So tell me, what is your plan? Food, exercise, life, cat pics, dad jokes?
