First, a glance at my November/December calendar to see how I've done so far--not too bad! I hit or surpassed my 3x per week goal 2 out of 4 weeks. I'm on track to complete 3 workouts this week as well. What isn't showing (because I'm terrible at adding custom workouts now) is all the extra walking I'm doing since I've moved. Now I walk about 1.5-2 extra miles every in-office day, which is at least 3 times per week (4-5 times in busy months, but we're not there yet). My body is still adjusting, so I won't be changing my 3x/week goal.
What I did chuck was the requirements for 1 strength, 1 cardio and 1 mobility--that quickly got me into a rut of avoidance. So I'm back to whatever I feel like doing counts.
I ditched the Postpartum program because I was bored and switched to Marina and Aly's Flow Challenge--so far I'm loving it! Yoga has never been my thing, but I like their approach better. It seems to be magic for my hips, knees, back and random hypermobile joints. I don't know how or why it works, but I'm not questioning it!
Nutrition-wise, batch prepping has been going swimmingly (have not yet purchased a crock pot though) and it's paying off. So that goal will be updated with a new one for December.
-I've already started doing this as of the last 7-10 days. While intuitive eating is ideal, it's too challenging for me with my work schedule, mental health, and level of busyness. I'm also having some persistent GI issues, so I need to keep a closer eye on what I'm eating and how it's affecting my body.
