Who remembers the Versatile Lower Body Tri Sets workout? This latest Lower Body Tri Sets workout I’ve got for you today is just a bit shorter than it and instead of doing cardio for the second exercise in each tri-set, we do bodyweight strength.
Tri-sets can be intimidating, but at the same time, they always set us up to be empowered! For our sets, 15-seconds are shaved off with each interval. We start out with 45 seconds of a weighted exercise, followed by 30 seconds of that same exercise completed with body weight only, and then we end with 15 seconds of an isometric hold of the exercise.
I love multi-set formatting because it allows us to increase time under tension and work really hard, without too much mental strain! There’s constantly something that’s being switched up to keep us engaged.
