HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group November 18th 🐻
Hello everone, welcome to Monday! It's chilly and damp out, so I'm happy enough to work from home today. Or maybe go into hibernation.🐻 What is it about November that makes me so very sleepy? I'm trying to take cues from my body after watching Kelli's excellent new video, make myself feel like exercise is something safe and positive rather than stressful and potentially dangerous, so I'm gifting myself a "rest morning" and might add in a workout later in the day. Kelli's new Pilates is tempting me a lot 😀! Anyone else looking at that one?
I'm starting out my day with this thought:
"Instead of asking 'have I worked hard enough to deserve rest?' ask, 'Have I rested enough to do my most living, meaningful work?'" (Micola Jane Hobbs)
Now, I'm going to take a minute to post two reminders. The first is that everyone is welcome to read and post, we're a friendly bunch!
Secondly, since our threads have more and more hosts, I wanted to remind folks of the simplest "format". On HKS, the only things we consistently publish are (1) a thought for the day, can be one of your own or a quote (2) an invitation to check in, about your workouts or resting. Pictures are enjoyed but not required, same for are replies to all the posts. I thought I would put that out there in case anyone was stressed about the hosting. Hope you all get a great start to your week!
