While I really liked the exercises and bored easily format, I was too wrapped up in getting the correct amount of reps and then losing form, when I was rushing to change weights before the next new exercise. Versus if I tried to slow it down and do only a few reps e.g. to stop after 40 sec to give 20 seconds to change weights, it didn't feel like I worked out that muscle much, and had room to do more?
I find that if the rest isn't a "separate part" then I am very thrown off between the exercise how long to do and how long to rest. I realized I need structured consistent rest between the exercises instead of the more on the fly sometimes 10 sec, sometimes 15, sometimes 20, sometimes 25 sec that seems to happen with EMOM format

Does anyone else find that the EMOM format doesn't really work for them?
