PPals—Friday Nov 8 ❄️ 🌧️ ⛅️ 🌈

Hello! I’m posting Thursday night knowing the pals in Europe will be up soon. Sending support to everyone for the many things we have happening in our lives. Perhaps things that haven’t been shared.

If anyone is stressed from the election, or anything else, you’re invited to do the stress detox with Lynna, Deb, and me. But as of Friday, I am two days behind.

Yesterday, I did Amanda‘s newest workout and I recommend it.

Food was an absolute cheat of grocery store fried chicken strips because I was working late on a union flyer. I did buy and eat asparagus. Can eating a healthy food cancel out an unhealthy food? How about if I share dessert with my husband? Does that mean the calories don’t count? I also remember hearing eat healthy for five days of the week and then you can splurge on the other two days. I’m not looking for science here; instead, I’d like to hear some weird food thoughts or sayings. Ooo, here’s another. I once told someone that I like to sneak chocolate chips. And she said if you eat a handful of chocolate chips every day you’ll be fat. And my thought was, you are not hearing anything I’m saying. I’m not eating a handful, I’m not eating it every day. And I’m still going to continue my love affair with dark chocolate.

There is a product in the US that claims to be making chocolate products from the whole cacao pod. Their chocolate bar is one of the best off the shelf chocolate I’ve tasted. They also make weird chocolate fruit gummies.

The picture is the view from my oldest daughter’s place where she has been without power for 24 hours. The tree usually stands upright. They have a fireplace so they won’t die.

I’ll stop babbling. Pals is an international, eclectic, profound, fun loving, thinking, and caring group. I should add silly. We would love to have you post.
