Hello Blenderz!

You may be wondering what this combo check in is about. Here's the deal: after some conversation, Raven and I have decided that this will be our last time hosting the Daily Check-ins. Yes, both of us. It's been long overdue, and we're both ready for retirement! It is sad, especially after 6 years--but all things must come to an end.

I am grateful to FB for providing this platform that we could connect on; and for all the people I've met throughout the years. Especially Raven, who took on co-hosting duties in my time of need. I will always, always be grateful for everything you have done, Raven, and there are simply not enough words to describe how important you are to me.

I also want to give a shoutout to Anne, who I know is having an incredibly rough time right now. I hope that your appointment ended up having the best possible outcome. I am grateful for you choosing to be a part of these check ins, for sharing your amazing photographs; and I am still holding you to that Galapagos trip. Even if it's just in theory.

I'm grateful to everyone one of you who has checked in, or lurked over the years.

So, Blenderz, you might be thinking what's next. Well, here's a few options to consider:

I made this check-in stand as a 'two-fer' that you can use it to check in for both today and tomorrow for convenience's sake---or someone is more than welcome to create a separate check in for tomorrow as well. Then you will have your weekend guest host (you can check last Thursday's post for that schedule), and then come Monday, you can decide how you want to proceed. Either someone else can continue hosting, or you can just let it be done--it's up to you.
