Hi! I just wanted to share a little bit of my story with anyone who could use some encouragement. I am the mother of 5. After my last child, I was diagnosed with Postpartum Grave’s Disease. I was sick for 3 years with it and it was HORRIBLE! I was pretty hit and miss in the fitness department, and due to the medication I had to take, I gained some weight. I finally recovered and was able to get off of the medication. All of my confidence was gone and I felt like a blob. I jumped back onto the fitness wagon in the summer of ‘23 and have been training for 6 days per week consistently ever since. I know not everyone needs to train that much, but I do it for my mentality - I’m a significantly nicer person when I get some good movement in.;) I had also finally accepted that you can’t outwork a bad diet, and I changed the way I ate in January of ‘24. I started with FitnessBlender’s meal plan. I am forever grateful for it! I have suffered from digestive issues my entire life, and learning how to eat as clean as possible with whole foods has made the majority of those problems disappear! I feel SOOO MUCH better and I will NEVER go back to eating whatever whenever again! My entire family eats better and it’s made a HUGE difference in our lives. Lastly, I would have NEVER imagined I would have ever been able to get this kind of physique. Everyone tells you that after you have kids, you’re pretty much doomed to the weight gain and your body will never be the same. The doctor that delivered my first baby said to me: “Before you had the body of a young lady. Now you have the body of a mom.” I have a little loose skin, but losing the fat is completely doable! Stay consistent and don’t give up! It CAN be done!
To all of you moms out there, it CAN be done!
