HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group October 26th

Good Saturday morning! How are you this morning? How’s the weather where you are? And what are your plans for the day?

To answer my own questions, I’m tired this morning. All week I’ve been waking up around 2-3am and not being able to fall back asleep for 2 hours, or at all. As I say this, David and Loki are sound asleep on the couch next to me. Lucky them.

Temperatures here are cooler than last week and I see that we may dip below 0°C on Monday. Time to get out and wash our warmer clothes and jackets. But then by Wednesday they predict +20°C 🤷‍♀️

As for today’s plans, we will be visiting David’s parents this afternoon. It’s my father-in-law’s birthday and he announced that all he wants is a chocolate cake. I may bake one, not sure yet. My energy level and focus are not all there. It might be better to visit a few bakeries to buy a cake. And a good excuse to buy a delicious treat at the same time.

I’m trying my best to remain positive, like in the meme above, even though I haven’t done much in terms of my fitness (or pretty much anything else, to be honest) in about 3 weeks now. I have too much on my mind and I feel like I am shutting down because of the stress. This too shall pass, hopefully soon.
