New Workout! Cardio Kickboxing and Lower Body Strength
Good morning FB Family!
Are you in the mood for a little lower body sizzle today? Look no further than today’s workout release, a follow-up workout to the challenging but (hopefully) enjoyable, Cardio Kickboxing with Lower Body Strength workout:
In today’s workout, you will alternate between short kickboxing combos and single-weight lower body strength circuits to efficiently test your heart, lungs, and muscles in one workout session. By default, your core will get a wonderful workout as well. Core strength is integral to moving with coordination and agility while throwing your punches and kicks as well as maintaining an upright, safe posture during the unilateral strength work.
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t teach kickboxing or box nearly as much as I used to, but when I get the chance to flow through these kinds of workouts, I have such fun! I hope you enjoy this routine as well and perhaps give yourself some grace to laugh at yourself if you fumble through the combos. Most likely, no one is watching and if they are you get the chance to put on a show! It’s very likely that there are future kickboxing/fusion-style workouts in planning for the future. Hmm…what could I be scheming up?
