Hello all! I'll start by wishing a happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to Canadian Blendfriends near and far. Today's thought is just one thing that makes us thankful : "It's such a happiness when good people get together." (Jane Austen)
In my area, we are definitely feeling the chill of autumn now -- I've put a couple photos below, with fall colors. We took a nice long walk yesterday. The sun was brilliant, and the air was brisk. Today we're forecast to receive cold rain ☔, so it will be a cozy, indoor kind of day 🛋️. Which makes it perfect for baking my celebratory cake 🎂 (having an actual holiday near my birthday makes me very loosey-goosey about the actual day on which festive foods will occur). Limes are ready for zesting and coconut is ready for toasting. The recipe says that this cake freezes really well, which is a good thing because with two of us, a bundt pan makes a lot of cake LOL.
Now I need to choose a workout. I've been thinking about doing Kayla's short foot and ankle series. Kelli's new stretching and mobility looks really good, too, and if I wait too long I'll be craving Pilates. There are enough good options on the table that I will probably set up 1-week routine for myself.
