This isn’t any old cardio and strength routine! To make these exercises extra engaging, we incorporate a light object into all the exercises. I used a mini ball but you can use any household object that is light (and not breakable) like a stuffed animal for example. AJ kindly let me borrow her toy to use as a prop! Ok, maybe she didn’t approve, but I was able to sneak it from her toy stash.
Following a warm up, we complete a cardio section and then a strength-based section before a cool down. This combo of strength and cardio is a fan favorite, allowing you to work your body in multiple capacities! Using a light object naturally makes the exercises that much more engaging. I found it to be a feel-good routine yet still broke a good sweat and challenged myself!
