HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group October 7th ☔
Hello Blendfriends, welcome to the start of another week. We're having a gentle rain, which suits me fine, no need to water my remaining vegetables. I'm recovering from an active weekend! I'm happy to say that my wrist is finally well enough for normal paddling. Along with a mental adjustment that the outing was not meant to achieve a goal (get past that island, go under that bridge, head back downwind, get to shore before the parking runs out) but rather to enjoy every minute spent out there, I had what was consistently the best time yet. According to my back, I got a little carried away and overdid things 😅, but it was done with love. All my writing about my kayak progress makes me think of Ashley and her passion for running. I hope she is doing well this week, I know she had a lot going on. Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way, Ashley 🤗
So today started off gently, with some good stretches from Kelli to reset my back and neck. I just love this "mobility moments" workout: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/intro-to-spine-mobility-add-on-exercises-to-mobilize-your-spine As some were mentioning over on PPals, it's a fine line between too much work and too much rest. So what are you up to? A little work, a little rest? Delicious food? Pumpkin facts (looking at you, CK!)? Let us know 😀
