Perspiration Pals 3 October 2024

Hi there, Pals! How are you today? It’s been raining all day and I can’t decide what’s worse: public transport in the rain vs public transport in a heatwave. All I know is that various body parts and objects in my intimate space stresses me out.

Speaking of stress, it’s rather late again and I realised that unless I start think about our fact-finder fragment the previous night I don’t always have the time to start the thread in the morning which would be the ideal time for me to do so. It’s not going to work in the long run. Also, reading my previous posts (the IT guy has managed to save my data on my otherwise dead SD card, yaay!) made come to the realisation that I was a lot more enthusiastic, interesting and perhaps even funnier when I started this about 3 years ago so I think it’s time to take a step back. I would like to be part of this community because you’re lovely but I won’t be able to post twice a week. I hope that somebody might be able to cover Thursdays because right now I don’t want to stress about not being able to find the time or the inspiration. Thank you for your understanding.

Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment because I intend to continue this little tradition. Did you know that the Arctic could be ice-free by 2040? (way to lift the mood..) Scientist previously suggested that this would not occur until 2070. Also, completely unrelated but did you know that the lighter was invented before the matchstick? And I don’t know whether it’s true or not, but apparently a scorpion can hold its breath underwater for up to six days. (source: 3666 Interesting, Fun And Crazy Facts You Won't Believe Are True)

All right, Pals, please don’t be mad at me and have an easy day !
