Karate

Hello, I am a dedicated FB'er and have completed many programs in the past. I have recently been improving strength and balance in preparation to start Karate classes next week. Are there any specific recommendations for moves I am likely to encounter as I begin to learn karate? I have rubbish punching technique, and feel really silly so I avoid the kickboxing workouts on FB at the moment!
