Progressive Muscle Relaxation for Sleep

This guided progressive muscle relaxation will help you to release the physical tension we so often hold in our bodies — tension from exercise, movement, stress, trauma, and more — in order to ideally support a better quality of sleep. It is accessible for anyone (with a few exceptions for folks who live with certain types of chronic pain specifically within your muscles or those with injury, recent surgery, severe muscle soreness, or psychosis) but is particularly helpful for those who struggle with sleep.

I personally love turning to progressive muscle relaxation in times when I need the stress relief but don’t want to turn inward to my breathing or thought/emotional patterns. It is a way to remain mindful and connect primarily with our body.
