HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group September 14th
Good Saturday morning everyone! I can’t believe that almost half of the month of September has already passed.
It very much still feels like summer here, with bright sunshine, warm temperatures and even some humidity thrown in, which I could do without. But it is perfect walking weather in the mornings, so I’m enjoying my daily walks. And David agrees that we should walk after supper each night, so I’ll get more steps in. I will have to give my podiatrist a call though, because even with my orthotics, I feel a pulling sensation on the outside of my foot/ankle. But at least I’m used to wearing them now.
David and I had a talk this week about working together to keep up with the housecleaning. I think that one of the reasons I have been dealing with task paralysis is because I feel resentment if I’m the only one cleaning, and I don’t want to nag and I shouldn’t have to ask for “help” with the housecleaning, since it’s a shared responsibility. I agreed to his term of starting today and not planning every task. That’s something that I should do in other areas of my life as well, to relieve some of the pressure that I put on myself. I’m hoping that this agreement will help me to stop procrastinating, and not just in regards to housecleaning.
What will you be doing this weekend? Any fun plans? We’ll be having breakfast with David’s parents this morning. And we’ll hold our weekly movie night at home.
