New Workout! Express Mobility for Happier Hips

Time for an express workout to show your tight hips some love: Mobility for Happier Hips

In under 15 minutes we’ll work your hips from multiple angles — flexion, extension, internal and external rotation — to release tension and work towards greater range of motion! This isn’t a routine where we sit and hold stretches for long periods of time. We’ll be moving through a series of exercises that encourage strength and flexibility in the muscles surrounding the hips; hint, be prepared to get your glutes involved!

Who might care about hip mobility? Without using the blanket statement of “everyone” (even though I truly believe everyone can benefit), there are some populations of people that could use an additional focus on hip mobility — pregnant and postpartum women, anyone with pelvic floor trouble, those with back pain, and people who want to improve their squat and deadlift, among many others.

Make this an active recovery “gift” to yourself, or tack this onto the end of a cardio or lower body workout as an extended cooldown.
