It is late Saturday night as I write this so I will tell you about what I did today-Saturday. I went grocery shopping so that made me think of looking for grocery shopping memes. I bet you can't read it without having the song go through your head.
It was beautiful out today. It was in the 80's F. It is funny to think that that would feel cool but it did after all the 90 and 100 degree days we had the last few weeks.
I finished the barre challenge last week so I made a 2 week routine and I'm happy to have a my own program to follow. I am doing upper body strength, yoga and Pilates workouts in that order followed by a restorative workout each week. Fitness Blender listed the focus as core which seemed odd to me. So then I edited to make Daniels long Pilates workout optional and a required shorter Pilates workout, Then the focus was listed as total which is what I thought it should be. I'll decide the second week if I am brave enough to tackle that long Pilates workout, So far I am on track Friday I did Nicole's upper body workout and Saturday I did yoga. Sunday I have a new to me pilates workout with Amanda.
Sunday I will also make banana chocolate chip bread cookies. That was part of the reason for my shopping trip today. This was my go to recipe during the pandemic when I needed cookies. This time I bought whole wheat flour and almond milk so I'll find out how it turns out with these ingredients instead of white flour and 2% milk I used before.
So I am off to bed and to dream about banana chocolate chip cookies!
