HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group August 30th
Hello, lovelies, and Happy last Friday of August. Can you feel the fall in the air? Do you say fall or autumn? As a kid, I learned to say autumn but for some reason that just sounds wrong to me now, as much as I love autumnal vistas. In any case, summer is nearly over, at least according to the calendar, and I am not sorry to see it go. The long days will be missed, though.
I am on track for my step goal for August, I managed to do another workout this morning and, after two cursed days at worked in which everything broke all at once, it seems like today might be a bit more quiet? So I am optimistic for now (8:30 AM). I did Erica's Total Body AMRAP Supersets, except I substituted nearly all the exercises because they were all compound moves and I'm not really a fan of those. Is this a case of workout of Theseus? The actual structure of the workout was great though, AMRAPs have become my favorite because they fly by so fast.
Boyfriend's mom is in town, we met last night for dinner but I won't join them today because I am tired on account of work being crazy this week. I booked us a tour in the cemetery for tomorrow and, if we have time, we'll visit the History museum because they brought some artifacts from the Cucuteni culture and I would really like to see them:
I am feeling a bit better overall and still deciding what to do regarding my job. While I ponder this, I hope the poem attached in today's post reminds you to stop and enjoy the little things. Ok, enough rambling. Let me know how you are and have a great day!
