HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group August 28th
Last Wednesday of August. Hard to believe.
I have been keeping to myself the last couple of days processing the results of my recent medical procedure. They are not as bad as they could be but also they are not great. It's certainly worse than two years ago. But we are sticking to the plan and I will go again in January and we will take it from there. I trust the doctor and what she says, but it is still hard. At least I will be busy over the next months with language classes, tests and who knows what else gets thrown at me. I have lots of little things I have been procrastinating on and I hope to check off at least 2 of them by this weekend.
On Monday we did a long walk. The evenings are so nice. Sunny and mild but not burning hot sun. Yesterday I went to the gym and did 10 minutes of HIIT and stuck with my list of exercises except I did chest presses instead of bicep curls. Oops. This morning I went for a short easy run. Just over 3km. It is so dark in the mornings but at least it is nice and cool. I had to realize I hadn't run in almost 3 weeks and that made me a bit sad. I was already tossing and turning at 5 am so I thought just do it. Everything was laid out already. It will also get up to 35°C today, so no chance later.
