Perspiration Pals Sunday August 18, 2024

Happy Saturday night Sunday morning Ppals!

I hope this weekend is treating you well. CK and I thought it would be fun to share stories/pictures of our public (or school) libraries. Or if you have a book collection we would like to see it too. To give everyone time we will also use next Sunday's Ppals thread to continue our library theme. If you are not into libraries then skip to the end where we will talk about exercise.

I really visited my library today. I am fortunate that my county has a really nice library system. The are 4 regional libraries creatively named East, West, South and Southwest. There is also a few other branches and the Main Library. I live 15 min from South and Southwest and 20 min or so from the Main Library. The main library was recently renovated and looks quite nice. I have not been there since it reopened, I used to go there before the South and Southwest libraries were built and renovated respectively, since it had a good fiction section. Now I can get all the books I want at the much closer ( by a whooping 10 min!) South and Southwest locations.

Truth be known I ready mostly e-books and can get those without setting foot in a library. As for physical books you can go on-line and ask to pick up a book at your preferred location.

I'll share some pictures of my library in the comments that I pulled from the web since I felt silly taking pictures myself other than one outside picture.

The meme brings back memories of college when we had cart races in the chemistry building at night until the carts disappeared.

My exciting exercise news is that I finally finished abs3 and I'll finish Kayla's mobility challenge tomorrow. I plan on starting Erica's barre challenge next.

Please share anything you would about libraries, exercise, food or another topic that strikes your fancy.

All are welcome to read and chat with us.
