HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group August 10th
Good Saturday morning!
It rained for about 24 hours straight here, from Thursday evening to Friday night, with very strong downpours at times, and we got around 158mm of rain in total. That is a record for the region of Montréal. David had to spend a couple of hours back at work last night, to make sure that the water pumps were working properly and nothing was being flooded. Just after the rain stopped, we lost power for a couple of hours. We went to bed and it was warm in our bedroom. David and I woke up when the power turned back on and he rushed to get the a/c unit working. It was not the best night of sleep, to say the least. I foresee a nap in my future, though I know it’s not helping me sleep at night.
Speaking of bad sleep, I received the equipment to do my sleep apnea test tonight. I should get the results within 2 weeks. We’re still waiting to hear back from our insurance on coverage to buy a CPAP machine for David. I’m trying to picture both of us going to bed with the equipment on.
We have a busy morning ahead of us, with grocery shopping and washing our bed linens. I bought a new fitted sheet, we’ll see if it fits our thick mattress. I don’t think it’s that big, but it’s been a struggle to find fitted sheets that fit and stay on.
I plan on going for a walk and enjoying the nice weather we’re supposed to have today. And there’s a kettlebell workout on my calendar. I have 3 left to do from the challenge, interspersed with 2 other types of workouts. I can do this.
Looking forward to reading about your day. Have a great one! 🙂
