Hello Blendfriends! Welcome to blessed relief for the Eastern Canadians, 17C has never felt nicer. I have to get this thread off to a quick start, as I've shifted my summer-schedule day off to Fridays while my colleague is away, which means I'll be in the office Mondays. It's not likely to be super busy, but I like to get in at a reasonable hour.
Today my calendar has a deep core workout from Nicole, one of her workouts that includes a few of my PT moves. I feel like I should probably be doing those moves again, as it is pretty clearly not true that I am all healed up. I like that the care professionals I found tell me when they're pretty much done with what they can do for me, rather than booking more appointments uselessly, but I wish there were more they could do to give me a healthy spine, as I'm not there yet. Oh well. I guess that's part of, um, not being as young as I once was 😂. I'll just have to keep going. And with this thought, I finally found a quote to share for the day:
“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.” (Mary Anne Radmacher)
I think we've got a good collection of courageous women on this thread. Oh, and, speaking of roar, yesterday I learned that my husband has never heard, or even heard of, the Helen Reddy classic "I am woman (hear me roar)". Did that song make it to Canada, back in 1971?
